Yoon HeeSaup
Music Director, SeoulPIUM.
Born in Seoul and attending the Department of Vocal Music at Hanyang University, Yoon Hee-seop won the Grand Prize in the National Sungak Competition, the 1st prize in the Suri Competition, the 1st prize in the KEPCO Artsful Competition, and the 1st prize in the Dong-A Competition. After graduating early from the Hans Eisler National University in Berlin, Germany, he debuted as an exclusive soloist at the Hamburuk National Theater in August 2004, worked as an exclusive soloist at the Kassel National Theater, and became the 3rd Korean to debut at the Zigzubuk Summer Festival in 2009, and has performed more than 1,000 operas in Germany, England, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Swiden. He has played major roles in various operas such as Rantgraf in Tanhozer in Wagner, Hunding in Valquire, Walter in Verdi, Sparafchile in Likolletto, Piesco in Simonbonecane Gra, Figaro in Mozart's Figaro, Gremin in Onegin in Tchaikovsky, Colinet in Labohem, and Orbeso in Basilio Norma in Cebilia. Currently, he is a Soloist of Korea National Opera.
